I teach piano and flute to people of all ages and all levels.  I've been teaching since I graduated from UCLA, where I received my BA in music.  The main thing I want from my students is for them to have a joyful experience learning and playing music, have an art form that allows them a means of personal expression, and to experience pride in their accomplishments.
   Styles I teach include jazz, classical, Latin jazz, salsa, ragtime, boogie woogie, blues, and current popular music.
   I encourage parents to be involved in their childrens' musical education.  I have regular recitals, which are always a lot of fun.
